The company is engaged in the production and supply of tartaric acid products, including cream of tartar, Rochelle salt, potassium tartrate, and tartaric acid. It was established in the year 1907. The company operates from its headquarters located in Novelda, Alicante in Spain. The company is an international leader and standard-setter in manufacturing and sale of natural tartaric acid salts and esters. All the tartaric raw material used in the production process is derived from by-products of the grape, and is carefully selected and analyzed to ensure its traceability. This enables the company to achieve continual monitoring during quality control of the production process. In addition to tartaric acid products, it manufactures Bonsalt, a zero percent sodium salt, and low-sodium salts, as well as various formulations and grades of sweeteners. Its R&D (Research and Development) Department devotes the effort that is necessary in order to diversify the scope of its activity and ensure constant improvement of its products.
